Third Day

In retrospect, I also remember that I learned about using Audacity and OneNote also yesterday. I really want to try using some of these tools and sharing them with other teachers. I had thought that because a lot of this new technology was so new to me, there are still many things that I can practice and also share with my peers for us to develop together.

Second Day

Today was an extensive work day. Although I have created blogs and wikis before, I learned a few new things on Lesson Planning and appreciated working with other teachers to plan our Technology Integrated Lesson. It was challenging to find activities that would work for the lesson as it takes time and trying out different search words to locate the information you need on the internet.

I also learned about Webquests and new ways to give students class activities on the net.

First Day

Today was the first day of a workshop to prepare HODs for laptops in the classroom. The day passed quickly and I learned quite a few new things.

I am hoping teachers can find the time to do all the extra work needed to get themselves ready for these new initiatives. I know that it is going to be very difficult. For me, and for others, it is going to take a lot of time to practice this new information before I can think about sharing it with others.
